The Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (AP DEECeT) 2025 notification has been released by the Directorate of School Education, Andhra Pradesh on April 21, 2025. This examination is for admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course offered in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and private elementary teacher training institutions in the state for the academic year 2025-2026.

Eligibility Criteria:
* Nationality: Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
* Local/Non-Local Status: Candidates must satisfy the Local / Non-Local Status requirements as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
* Minimum Educational Qualifications:
* Must have passed or appeared for the Intermediate Examination (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent as decided by the DEECET Committee.
* Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
* Candidates with Vocational Intermediate courses are not eligible.
* Minimum Percentage of Marks in Qualifying Examination:
* For OC and BC candidates: 50% aggregate.
* For SC, ST, and Physically Challenged candidates: 45% aggregate.
* SC/ST candidates need 50% for consideration against OC/NCC/CAP/Sports category seats.
* Age Limit: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on September 1, 2025. There is no upper age limit.
* Medium of Study:
* Candidates who studied in English medium at Intermediate are eligible for English medium seats.
* Candidates who studied in Telugu/Urdu/Tamil medium at SSC/Intermediate or with the language as the first/second language are eligible for respective medium seats.
Application Process:
* Applications must be submitted online only through the official websites: https://cse.ap.gov.in & https://apdeecet.apcfss.in.
* Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹750/- through the online payment gateway from April 22, 2025, to May 07, 2025.
* After payment, candidates need to submit the online application form with all the required details and upload necessary documents between April 23, 2025, and May 08, 2025.
Important Points:
* The DEECET 2025 examination will be conducted on June 2nd and 3rd, 2025, in all 13 erstwhile District Headquarters of Andhra Pradesh.
* The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
* Hall tickets can be downloaded from May 20, 2025, onwards from the official websites.
