The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had initially scheduled the RRB ALP CBT Stage II exam for March 19 and 20, 2025. However, this was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., technical issues reported in earlier updates). The revised schedule has been announced, and the RRB ALP CBT Stage II exam is now set to take place on May 2 and May 6, 2025.

RRB ALP CBT Stage II Examination Schedule

Key Details:

- Exam Dates: May 2 and May 6, 2025

- Shifts: The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day:

  - Shift 1: Reporting time at 7:30 AM, exam starts at 9:00 AM

  - Shift 2: Reporting time at 12:30 PM, exam starts at 2:00 PM

- Admit Card: Available for download 4 days prior to the exam (expected around April 28 for May 2 and May 2 for May 6) on the official RRB websites (e.g., rrbcdg.gov.in or rrb.digialm.com).

- City Intimation Slip: Released 10 days before the exam (around April 22 for May 2 and April 26 for May 6), allowing candidates to check their exam city and shift.

 Background:

- This exam is part of the recruitment process for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts under CEN-01/2024, aiming to fill 18,799 vacancies.

- Candidates who qualified in CBT Stage I (conducted from November 25–29, 2024) are eligible for CBT Stage II.

- The selection process includes CBT Stage I, CBT Stage II (Parts A and B), Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), and Document Verification.

Exam Pattern for CBT Stage II:

- Part A: 100 questions, 90 minutes, covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering, and General Awareness. (Negative marking: ⅓ mark deducted per wrong answer.)
