Andhra Pradesh Fisheries University (APFU), established to promote education and research in the field of fisheries and aquaculture, invites applications for admission into its 2-year Diploma in Fisheries programme for the academic year 2025–26. With the growing demand for skilled professionals in the fisheries sector, this diploma aims to equip students with practical knowledge and technical skills necessary for a career in aquaculture, inland and marine fisheries, and related industries. Admission is based on SSC marks and is open to eligible students across Andhra Pradesh.

Must have passed SSC or equivalent examination

Must belong to Andhra Pradesh

Age between 15 and 22 years as on 31.08.2025

Not pursuing or completed Intermediate or higher education

Rural Quota:

75% seats for Non-Municipal area (Rural) students

25% for Municipal (Urban) area students
