APMSRB invites applications for 28 Assistant Professor posts in Broad & Super Specialties at VIMS, Visakhapatnam.  

 Key Details:  

Total Vacancies: 28 (Details in Annexure-I)  

Specialties Include:  

- M.Ch. Neuro Surgery (3)  

- DM Cardiology (2)  

- MD/DNB Anesthesia (10)  

- DM General Medicine (2)  

- Hospital Administrator (3) & more!  

Pay:

- Broad Specialties: ₹92,000/month  

- Super Specialties: ₹1,60,000/month  

Eligibility:

- Broad Specialty: PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM) + 1-year Senior Residency  

- Super Specialty: PG Degree with DM/M.Ch.  

-Emergency Medicine: Candidates with PG in Anesthesia, Orthopedics, General Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, or General Surgery may apply if no EM degree holders are available.

Age Limit (as on 07.05.2025):

- OC: 42 years  

- EWS/SC/ST/BC: 47 years  

- Physically Handicapped: 52 years  

- Ex-Servicemen: 50 years  

Selection Process:

- Merit-based (100 marks):  

  - 85 marks: Qualifying degree marks/grade  

  - 10 marks: Years since passing PG/Super Specialty (@1 mark/year)  

  - 5 marks: PG/Super Specialty from Central Institutions  

- Rule of Reservation applies.  

Application Fee (Online via UPI):

- OC: ₹1,000  

- BC/SC/ST/EWS/Differently Abled: ₹750
