Overview:
Samagra Shiksha, Andhra Pradesh, under the leadership of Sri B. Srinivasa Rao, IAS, has sanctioned ₹1,42,56,200 for conducting a 3-day Residential DRPs Training Program. The initiative focuses on the TaRL (Teaching at the Right Level) and SCERT Interventions to enhance foundational learning and experiential education across the state.
Training Venues and Allocation:
Training will be held at 13 strategic venues, each catering to multiple districts. Key venues include:
Shivani Engineering College, Srikakulam
Vizag International School, Vizianagaram
DSNLU, Visakhapatnam
Maris Stella College, Vijayawada
VRS & YRN College, Chirala
JNTU, Pulivendula, and others.
Each center will host Residential Resource Persons (RRPs) and District Resource Persons (DRPs) for intensive workshops, hands-on activities, and collaborative sessions.
What’s Covered?
The total budget of ₹1.42 Cr is allocated for:
Stationery & training materials
TaRL TLM Kits (Teaching Learning Material) @ ₹2,500 each
Food & Accommodation @ ₹1,150 per person
Travel Allowance, Daily Allowance, and Honorariums
Course Coordinator fees
Approximately 2,906 DRPs across 13 venues will benefit from this initiative.
Fund Release & Utilization:
An advance of ₹1.09 Cr is approved for immediate release to Additional Project Coordinators.
Funds to be used for all activities excluding food & accommodation.
TLM Kit funds are to be transferred to DCEBs for procurement and delivery by June 1, 2025
