Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the qualifications and experience requirements outlined below:
1. Professor
- Medical Candidates (General Discipline): MD/MS or equivalent with 14 years of teaching/research experience.
- Super-speciality Disciplines: DM/MCh (2/3/5 years course) or equivalent with 12 years (2/5-year course) or 11 years (3-year course) of experience.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s degree in the relevant specialty and a doctorate with 14 years of experience.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 58 years.
2. Additional Professor
- Medical Candidates (General Discipline): MD/MS or equivalent with 10 years of experience.
- Super-speciality Disciplines: DM/MCh or equivalent with 8 years (2/5-year course) or 7 years (3-year course) of experience.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s degree and doctorate with 10 years of experience.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 58 years.
3. Associate Professor
- Medical Candidates (General Discipline): MD/MS or equivalent with 6 years of experience.
- Super-speciality Disciplines: DM/MCh or equivalent with 4 years (2/5-year course) or 3 years (3-year course) of experience.
- Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s degree and doctorate with 6 years of experience.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years.
4. Assistant Professor
- Medical Candidates (General Discipline): MD/MS or equivalent with 3 years of experience.
- Super-speciality Disciplines: DM/MCh or equivalent with 1 year (2/5-year course) or no experience (3-year course).
- Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s degree and doctorate with 3 years of experience.

Pay Scale
The positions offer competitive salaries as per the 7th Pay Commission:
- Professor: Level 14-A, Minimum Pay ₹1,68,900 + NPA (for medical candidates).
- Additional Professor: Level 13-A2+, Minimum Pay ₹1,48,200 + NPA.
- Associate Professor: Level 13-A1+, Minimum Pay ₹1,38,300 + NPA.
- Assistant Professor: Level 12, Minimum Pay ₹1,01,500 + NPA, with provision to move to Level 13 after 3 years.
