ORDER:
The Government have decided to constitute the Group of Ministers for resolving issues/concerns raised by the people/public representatives on the requests of change in the names/boundaries of the District, Mandal, Village.
2 Accordingly, Government hereby constitute a Group of Ministers with the following Ministers:
1. Sri Anagani Satya Prasad, Hon'ble Minister for Revenue, Registration & Stamps
Hon'ble Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development 2. Sri Ponguru Narayana,
3. Smt. Anitha Vangalapudi,
Hon'ble Minister for Home Affairs & Disaster Management
4. Sri B.C.Janardhan Reddy, Hon'ble Minister for Roads & Buildings, 1 & 1
5. Dr. Nimmala Ramanaidu, Hon'ble Minister for Water Resources Development 6. Sri Nadendla Manohar,
Hon'ble Minister for Food & Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs
7. Sri Satya Kumar Yadav, Hon'ble Minister for Health, Family Welfare & Medical Education
3. The Special Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue Department shall be the Convenor of the above Group of Ministers to convene and coordinate the Committee Proceedings. The Group of Ministers may invite the Officers concerned for their assistance, if necessary.
4 The Terms of Reference of the Group of Ministers, as proposed by the Revenue Department are as follows:
To assess the practicality of proposed changes in terms of administrative efficiency.
To address disputes related to District, Revenue Division or Mandal boundaries and evaluate the distance from District, Revenue Division or Mandal Headquarters to ensure accessibility for citizens.
To consider the preservation of historical and cultural affiliations when reviewing proposals for boundary changes or new administrative units.
To ensure that restructuring promotes equitable socio-economic development across regions.
To evaluate proposals to maintain a balance in geographic-size and demographic distribution for effective governance.
To study the issues raised by the citizens and public representatives, while considering the changes proposed in district boundaries, headquarters, naming conventions, administrative arrangements and resource allocation.
5. The Group of Ministers shall submit their recommendations to the Government for taking a decision in the matter.
6. The Special Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue Department and the C.C.L.A., A.P., shall take further necessary action in the matter.
