All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all District Educational Officers in the state are informed that the Head of INSPIRE-MANAK, Ministry of Science and Technology, Dept. of Science and Technology, Technology Bhawan, New Mehrauli Road, New Delhi has stated that the INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme is a flagship program implemented by this Department with a basic objective to instill creative/innovative thinking among school students.
The MANAK Scheme envisages to target one million original innovative ideas from students studying in more than five lakh middle and high schools across the country and selecting the best ideas having potential to cater to societal needs and applications, thereby motivating these students to take these ideas forward for prototype and product development
Further, it has been decided to include students of Class XI and Class XII in the eligibility criteria of the Scheme one from each class. Thus, from this year onwards school students studying in class 6-12 will be eligible to submit their ideas. The registered schools under the INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme, in each financial year can nominate 5 best ideas from their schools, (7 ideas from high school plus schools) through online mode, in E Management of INSPIRE-MANAK Scheme (E-MIAS) web portal of the Department using the link: www.inspireawards-d.gov.in.
The online nominations for 2025-26, will resume from 15th June, 2025. The schools can submit their online nominations till 15th September, 2025.
Hence, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all District Educational Officers in the state are requested to apprise all the schools under their purview about opening of online nominations under the MANAK scheme for 2025-26 and also about the deadline. Further, they should ensure to submit their
nominations well before the given deadline in order to avoid last minute inconvenience encountered due to heavy load in the E-MIAS web portal and also requested to conduct divisional level meetings for Science Teachers (BS/PS) to motivate them to get innovative ideas from students and issue guidelines to all the District Science officers of all districts to get maximum number of INSPIRE-MANAK nominations for the year 2025-26.
