NHPC Limited, a premier ‘Navratna’ company under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, invites online applications for 361 Apprentice posts in various trades across its offices and power stations for one-year training.

Location-wise Apprenticeship Opportunities:

• Corporate Office, Faridabad – 107 slots
• Regional Offices/Power Stations in:

Chamba, Chandigarh, Kullu, Champawat, Jammu, Kishtwar, Uri, Kargil, Leh, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh

Apprenticeship Categories:

• Graduate Apprentices: B.E/B.Tech/PG/MBA/LLB (Stipend ₹15,000/month)
• Diploma Apprentices: Diploma holders in Engg., Nursing, Pharmacy etc. (Stipend ₹13,500/month)
• ITI Apprentices: Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Computer Operator, Draughtsman etc. (Stipend ₹12,000/month)
• DBT Bonus: Additional ₹4,500 for Graduates & ₹4,000 for Diploma holders under NATS.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age: 18 to 30 years

Must not have completed prior apprenticeship of 1 year or more.

Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

Must be medically fit and meet physical standards as per Apprentice Act, 1961.

Selection Process:

• No exam or interview. Selection based on merit:
• Graduate Apprentices: 60% (Degree) + 20% (12th/Diploma) + 20% (10th)
• Diploma/ITI Apprentices: 70% (Diploma/ITI) + 30% (10th)

Preference Order:

1. Project-Affected Families of the unit

2. Candidates from the same district

3. Candidates from same State/UT

4. Others as per merit

Last Date to Apply: 11 August 2025 (5:00 PM)

Apprenticeship duration is 1 year (extendable up to 2 years). No employment guarantee post-training.
