Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare (CH&FW), Andhra Pradesh has released the notification for admission into Multi-Purpose Health Workers (Female) – MPHW(F) / ANM Training Course for the academic year 2025-26 in Government, Grant-in-Aid, and Private institutions across the state.

Important Dates

• Application Availability: 01 August 2025
• Last Date to Submit Applications: 30 September 2025 (5:00 PM)
• Publication of Selection List by DM&HOs: 21 October 2025
• Commencement of Classes: 15 October 2025
• Last Date to Submit Approved Selection Lists to CH&FW: 31 October 2025

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) in any group.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 17 years as on 31 December 2025.
• No upper age limit as per INC Notification 2023.

Seat Distribution

• Government & Grant-in-Aid Institutions: 100% seats are Free Seats.
• Private Institutions: 60% seats – Free Seats (Convener quota), 40% seats – Management Quota.

Admission Process

For Free Seats (Government/Grant-in-Aid & Private Institutions):

• Selection will be made by a District Selection Committee consisting of:

1. Joint Collector (Chairman)

2. District Medical & Health Officer (Member-Convener)

3. Superintendent of District Headquarters Hospital (Member)

4. Principal of the concerned training institute (Member)

• Selection is purely based on merit – aggregate marks in Intermediate or equivalent examination.
• Candidates passing in a single attempt will be given preference over compartmental candidates.
• In case of tie, older candidates will be given preference.

For Management Quota Seats (Private Institutions):

Candidates must also apply and be approved by the District Selection Committee before admission.

Reservation Rules

• Reservation for SC/ST/BC, Ex-Servicemen, PH, and Local Area as per Government norms.
• Unfilled reserved seats will remain vacant and will not be converted to other categories.

Application Procedure

1. Download Application Form from CH&FW Official Website.

2. Fill out separate applications for Free Seats and Management Seats (if applicable).

3. Submit the application to the DM&HO office in the district where the institution is located, along with:

• SSC Certificate
• Intermediate Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Residential/Study Certificate (IV to X Class)
• Registration Fee: ₹50/- (DD in favour of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, AP)(BC/SC/ST candidates are exempted)

Important Notes

• Admissions only in APNMC-approved institutions (list available on official website).
• Department not responsible for admissions in unrecognized institutions.
• Entire admission process must be completed by 15 October 2025.
• Selection lists should clearly mention free/management quota and affix candidate photos.
