Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Hyderabad, has released its admission notification for the academic year 2025-26. The university, located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for a variety of programs.

Programs Offered

The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs, including:

•  UG Programs: B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc. (CBCS) .
•  PG Programs: M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., and MBA.
•  M.A. specializations: Journalism & Mass Communication, Economics, History, Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, English, Telugu, and Hindi.
• M.Sc. specializations: Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Psychology, Botany, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, and Zoology.
• Other Programs: Master of Library & Information Science (MLISc), Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLISc), various diplomas, and certificate programs.

The university offers programs in English, Telugu, and Urdu mediums.

• Commencement of Admissions: 13-06-2025.
• Last Date for Registration, Submission of Online Applications & Payment of Tuition Fee: 20-08-2025.

The payment of tuition fees for UG-II/III year and PG II year programs also commenced on 13-06-2025 and will end on 20-08-2025.

Applicants must read the prospectus and admission manual carefully before filling out the online application form. As per UGC guidelines, candidates must create an AAPAR ID and DEB-ID. After filling out the application, upload the required certificates and take a printout to visit the designated study center for original certificate verification. Tuition fees can be paid online using a Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. After payment, the ID card can be downloaded.
