The Mega DSC Orientation Programme for District Teams has released a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding Certificates Verification. Below is a detailed summary that will help candidates and officials understand the process better.

1. Qualification – Percentage of Marks

The percentage of marks in Degree shall be calculated including both Languages and Group Subjects.

2. GPA/CGPA Conversion

GPA/CGPA obtained in SSC, Intermediate, and Degree must be converted into percentage of marks as per the formula prescribed by the respective Board/University.

3. Local Status Clarification

Local status will be decided as per rules

Study Certificates from Class IV to X (7 years) must be submitted.

If studied privately, a Residence Certificate for 7 years prior to SSC is required.

For candidates migrating from Telangana, only certificates issued under G.O.Ms.No.132 & 133 are valid.

Different study combinations and their considered district examples are provided in the guidelines.

4. Principal Post – Experience Certificate

Eligibility for the post of Principal includes:

3 years’ experience as Principal in Govt/Private Higher Secondary/Intermediate institutions.

3 years’ experience as PGT/Lecturer in Govt/Private institutions.

5 years’ experience as Headmaster in Secondary Schools.

Experience Certificate should be issued by Principal/HM and counter-signed by DyEO (for Secondary) or DVEO/RIO (for Intermediate).

5. TET Eligibility

Candidates must pass in the concerned subject related TET:

TET 2A Languages → SA Languages

TET 2A Maths & Science → SA Maths, Physical Science, Biological Science

TET 2A Social → SA Social Studies

6. Minimum Marks – Hindi Pandit (Visarada/Praveena)

OC candidates: 50% marks required in academic qualifications.

SC/ST/BC candidates: 40% marks required.

No minimum marks required in Professional qualifications (B.Ed/D.El.Ed).

7. Minimum Marks – School Assistant (Physical Education)

No minimum percentage of marks is required in Academic or Professional qualifications for SA (PE), PD, and PET posts.

8. Language/Medium of Study Qualifications

Candidates are eligible if they:

Studied in the concerned medium at SSC, Intermediate, or Degree level, OR

Studied the concerned language as First/Second Language, OR

Had the subject as a core subject in Degree.

Applicable for: SA (Maths, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education), SGT, and PET.

9. Name Corrections

Minor spelling corrections in candidate’s name, father’s/mother’s name are allowed.

10. OTP for Verification

Any two out of three members can confirm verification through OTP.

11. Preview Option

A Preview option will be available before final submission.

12. EWS Certificate

EWS certificate issued by Revenue Authorities is valid only if the candidate has opted for EWS in the application form.
