Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in B.Sc. Computers, BCA, B.Com. Computers, or B.Tech (IT/CSE/ECE). Alternatively, an MCA, M.Sc.(IT), or M.Tech. (IT/CSE/ECE) from a recognized university is also acceptable. A graduate with computers as an elective or optional subject and a P.G. diploma in computer applications (PGDCA) from a recognized institution is also eligible.
- Skills: Required skills include data entry proficiency, typing speed, and efficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with data processing tools, internet usage, and good communication skills are also necessary.
- Age: The maximum age limit is 42 years for OC candidates. Age relaxations apply to other categories: 47 years for EWS, SC, ST, and BC candidates; 52 years for differently-abled persons; and 50 years for ex-servicemen.
- Local Candidature: Only candidates who are local to Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply. A candidate is considered local if they studied from 4th to 10th class in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh within three years of June 2, 2014, are also considered local.
Application Process
- How to Apply: Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure-1) at the Superintendent's office, Government General Hospital, Srikakulam.
- Application Fee: The fee is ₹500 for OC candidates and ₹350 for SC, ST, BC, EWS, differently-abled persons, and ex-servicemen.
- Payment Method: The fee must be paid via a Demand Draft in favor of "HOSPITAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY, GGH, SRIKAKULAM" on or before August 20, 2025.
Selection Procedure
The selection will be based on merit and the rule of reservation. The process includes:
- Written Examination (60% weightage): Conducted in two phases by NIC, Srikakulam.
- Phase I (Screening): 60 multiple-choice questions.
- Phase II (CPT): Practical Computer Proficiency Test for 60 marks, for candidates who qualify in Phase I.
- Merit in Graduation/Post-Graduation: 20% weightage.
- Experience: 10% weightage, with 5% for each year of relevant experience in a government, autonomous, or semi-autonomous institution.
- Interview: 10% weightage.
