I invite your attention to the references cited.
It is to inform that in the reference 1st cited above the Government have issued the Operational Guidelines for the Swarna Andhra-Swachha Andhra Program to promote cleanliness and hygiene across the State under the Swachha Andhra Indicators. The aim is to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of cleanliness activities.
In this connection a video conference has been conducted vide reference2nd and 3rd cited and instructions have already been issuedto the District GSWS Incharge Officers. Letter 5th cited certain instructionshave beenissued to District Collectors in the Stateon
Observing 3rd Saturday of every month as Swachha Andhra Day and Event Day activities to be done by Key Departments and Common activities that can be taken up by all Departments in the Districts. The designated themefor the month of August 2025 is "MON-SOON HYGIENE".
In view of the above all the District GSWS Incharge Officers, Municipal Commissioners, MPDOS, DLDOs in the state are requested to take necessary action in coordination with concerned Departments and to include the following activities under the common activities on the Event Day i.e., 23rd August 2025 in all Gram/Ward Secretariats offices and upload the photos, reports in SASA App dynamically.
1. To create awareness on Stop Water Stagnation - Stop Mosquito Breeding &preventing the increases risks of waterborne diseases (cholera, typhoid, diarrhoea) and vector-borne diseases (dengue, malaria, chikungunya) through the water bodies.
2. Deep cleaning of office premises.
3. Dusting and cleaning of office system, printers, file racks, other IT Infrastructure and arranging of files.
4. Ensure maintenance of Toilets.
5. Ensure to upload photos/reports in SASA app on the event day dynamically.
