Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has released Notification No.18/2025 (dated 16.09.2025) for Direct Recruitment to the post of Horticulture Officer in A.P. Horticulture Service.

Pay Scale: ₹54,060 – ₹1,40,540/- (RPS:2022)

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: 18 – 42 years as on 01.07.2025 (Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/BC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen etc.)

Educational Qualification:

Must possess 4-year B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Horticulture from a recognized University in AP or ICAR accredited University.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (Objective type)

General English & Telugu (Qualifying Test – SSC Standard)

Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability

Paper-II: Horticulture – I

Paper-III: Horticulture – II

Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deduction for each wrong answer

2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – Qualifying in nature

Application & Exam Fee

Application Processing Fee: ₹250/-

Examination Fee: ₹120/-

Exempted Categories: SC, ST, BC, PBDs, Ex-Servicemen, White Card holders (AP residents)

Written Examination will be conducted only at Vijayawada.
