The Women Development and Child Welfare Department (WCD&SC) in Telangana is looking to hire for several contract-based positions at the Specialised Adoption Agency (SAA), Sishuvihar, in Hyderabad. The department is seeking applications for nurses, chowkidars, and security guards. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2025.
Job Openings
* Nurse (Women): There are four positions available for a nurse. The pay is Rs. 13,240 per month. To be eligible, applicants must be qualified medical personnel with relevant qualifications like an ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife). The age requirement is between 25 and 35 years as of July 1, 2025.
* Chowkidars: Three chowkidar positions are open, with a monthly salary of Rs. 14,500. Applicants must have a minimum education of a 10th-grade pass and be committed individuals without a history of "moral turpitude" or addictions like drinking or chewing gutka. The age range for this role is 25 to 50 years.
* Security Guards: Three security guard positions are available—one for a male and two for females. The monthly salary is Rs. 15,600. Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak Telugu, Hindi, and English. They should also have knowledge of maintaining visitor pass systems, verifying identity proofs, managing lock and key systems, and using fire extinguishers. Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years old.

The application forms are available on the WCD&SC website, http://wdcw.tg.nic.in, from August 26, 2025. Completed applications must be submitted to the District Welfare Officer, WCD&SC, at the Sneha Silver Jubilee Complex in Hyderabad. The last date for applications to be received is September 15, 2025. Please note that applications that arrive late due to postal delays will not be accepted.
Age relaxations are available for certain groups: five years for SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates, and ten years for physically handicapped persons (except for the security guard position). Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
