The Government of Andhra Pradesh has released G.O.Ms.No.60, Finance (HR.VI-PC&TA) Department, dated 20th October 2025, announcing a 3.64% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for all state government employees.

Key Highlights

  • DA Revised: From 33.67% to 37.31% of Basic Pay.
  • Effective Date: 01-01-2024.
  • Payment Month: To be paid with October 2025 salary (payable in November 2025).

Arrears: From 01-01-2024 to 30-09-2025, payable at the time of exit from service.

Beneficiaries:

  • State Government employees in Revised Pay Scales 2022.
  • Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads, Gram Panchayats, Municipalities, and Corporations employees.
  • Aided Institutions and Universities including JNTU, ANGRAU, and Dr. YSR Horticultural University staff.
  • Teaching and Non-Teaching staff under UGC and AICTE pay scales.

UGC Pay Scales Revision

  • For UGC Pay Scales 2006, DA increased from 230% to 239%.
  • For UGC Pay Scales 2016, DA increased from 46% to 50%.

Payment Instructions

The revised DA will be paid in cash with the salary of October 2025, and the arrears for the period between January 2024 and September 2025 will be released later at the time of employee retirement or resignation.

In the unfortunate event of the employee’s death, legal heirs will receive DA arrears.
