2. Eligibility Criteria
Junior Faculty (Various Domains)
- Master’s Degree (minimum 2 years) after graduation OR
- PG Diploma (minimum 2 years) from a recognized institute, with minimum 55% marks.
- Candidates must hold academic or industry experience of at least 3 years.
- Experience in UG teaching will be preferred.
- Preference for candidates with hands-on software experience, such as:
- 3D Design Software (for Product Design)
- TUKACAD, REACHCAD, OPTITEX (for Leather Garments)
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Academic Support Staff – Lab Assistant (Metal & Wood)
- Minimum qualification: 12th Pass
- Must have 1 year of relevant experience handling metal and wood work.
- Junior Faculty – Retail & Fashion Merchandise
- Qualification: Master’s Degree or PG Diploma (2 years) with 55% marks in:
- Retail / Design / Fashion Communication / Fashion Design
- Fashion Technology / Space Design / Apparel & Textile / Retail Management, etc.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Retail Design, Fashion, or Visual Merchandising.
- Hands-on experience in COREL, Photoshop, Store Design tools preferred.
3. Tenure of Engagement
- Initial engagement: 6 months
- Extendable for additional periods of 6 months based on management decision
- Tenure is strictly ad-hoc and temporary.
4. Remuneration (Monthly Pay)
- As per the notification:
- Junior Faculty: ₹50,000
- Academic Support Staff (Lab Assistant): ₹30,000
- Pro-rata calculation applies for partial months.
- Includes 2 casual leaves per month (carry-forward allowed within the 6-month period).
- No additional allowances such as HRA, LTC, Medical, or House Allotment will be provided.
5. Duties & Responsibilities
Selected candidates must:
- Handle teaching, practical sessions, student assessments
- Maintain discipline and track student attendance
- Assist in academic projects and departmental responsibilities
- Submit weekly attendance through ERP
- Attend departmental meetings and reviews
- FDDI rules and policies apply to all selected candidates.
