The Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG), under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, invites online applications for various Administrative, Technical, and Academic positions.

6. Stenographer Grade-I – Level 6 – 1 Post – Deputation

7. Technical Assistant (Civil) – Level 5 – 1 Post – Direct Recruitment

8. Stenographer Grade-II – Level 4 – 2 Posts – Direct Recruitment

9. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – Level 4 – 1 Post – Direct Recruitment

Educational Qualifications:

• Professor-E: Ph.D. with 10 years’ research experience.
• Reader: Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience or Ph.D. with 2 years’ post-doctoral work.
• Fellow: Master’s degree in Computer Science / Physics / Geophysics (Ph.D. preferred).
• Assistant Director (OL): Master’s in Hindi/English with translation or teaching experience.
• Assistant: Graduate with 3 years’ experience as UDC or equivalent.
• Technical Assistant (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Pass with typing skills and computer knowledge.
• LDC/UDC: 10th or Graduation with typing and office experience.

Application Fee:

• For Posts 1–4:
• UR/OBC/EWS – ₹1000
• Female/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen – ₹800

For Posts 5–11:

• UR/OBC/EWS – ₹700
• Female/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen – ₹500 (Payment should be made online only.)
