The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has issued official orders for engaging 1,146 Academic Instructors on a temporary basis for the Academic Year 2025-26. These instructors will work in Government, ZPP, MPP, Municipal, and Municipal Corporation Schools across the state from 08.12.2025 to 07.05.2026.

AP Academic Instructors Recruitment 2025 – Notification for 1,146 Posts Released
Vacancy Details:
- Total Posts: 1,146
- School Assistants – 892
- SGTs – 254
- Nature of Engagement: Purely temporary
- Duration: 5 months (08.12.2025 to 07.05.2026)
- Budget Allocated: ₹8,21,40,000 from Samagra Shiksha funds
Honorarium:
- School Assistant: ₹12,500
- SGT: ₹10,000
Important Dates:
- Last date to submit applications at MRC: 05.12.2025
- Completion of selection process:06–07.12.2025
- Joining date: 08.12.2025
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the academic and professional qualifications as prescribed. Selection will be based on merit, calculated in a 75:25 ratio (Academic Qualifications: Professional Qualifications).
- Preference will be given to local village/mandal candidates.
- Applications must be submitted only at the Mandal Resource Centre (MRC).
Selection Process:
The District Education Officer will review all applications forwarded by MEOs and prepare merit lists. A District Level Committee will finalize the selection

District Level Selection Committee:
- District Collector – Chairman
- District Educational Officer – Member Convenor
- DIET Principal / Deputy Educational Officer – Member
After approval, the list of selected candidates will be sent to the respective School Management Committees (SMCs) for engaging Academic Instructors.
Terms of Engagement
- Engagement period: 08.12.2025 to 07.05.2026
- Services will automatically cease from 08.05.2026
- Selected instructors must open a bank account in any nationalized bank
- Monthly honorarium will be credited directly via online transfer
- MEOs must submit monthly attendance to APC, Samagra Shiksha by 2nd of every month
- Delay in attendance submission leads to action against MEOs
How to Apply?
1. Check the Press Note issued by the Mandal Educational Officer (MEO)
2. Submit your application at the MRC before the due date
3. Wait for district-level merit list
4. Selected candidates will be informed through SMC/MEO
Key Points:
- Appointments are purely temporary
- No guarantee of continuation after the given period
- Honorarium is strictly based on attendance & online payment system
