The SCERT, Andhra Pradesh, under the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has officially released the FA–III (Formative Assessment–III) examination timetable, model paper pattern, and syllabus for the academic year 2025–26. The proceedings were issued on 19 December 2025

🔹 Primary Classes (Classes 1 to 5)

🧾 FA–III Model Paper Pattern (35 Marks)

Classes 1 & 2

MCQs: 10 × 2 = 20 Marks

FR (Free Response): 5 × 3 = 15 Marks

Classes 3 to 5

MCQs: 15 × 1 = 15 Marks

VSAQs: 2 × 2 = 4 Marks

SAQs: 4 × 4 = 16 Marks

Classes 6 to 9

MCQs: 15 × 1 = 15 Marks

VSAQs: 2 × 2 = 4 Marks

SAQs: 2 × 4 = 8 Marks

Essay: 1 × 8 = 8 Marks

Class 10

Subject-wise distribution of 1M, 2M, 4M, and 8M questions

Total: 35 Marks per subject

📘 FA–III Syllabus (November & December 2025)

Applicable Classes: I to X

Subjects Covered: Telugu, Hindi, English, Mathematics, EVS, General Science, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies

Special Note:

  • Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) assessments are integrated with FA–III for Classes III, IV, and V.
  • The TaRL midline test must be conducted in the same manner as the FA–II baseline test, using the same assessment tools.

Important Instructions:

  • Question papers must be stored securely at School Complexes (Classes 1–5) and MRCs (Classes 6–10).
  • Papers will be distributed to schools one hour before the examination.
  • MEOs, School Complex Headmasters, and CRPs must ensure fair and smooth conduct of examinations.

Any irregularities should be reported immediately to higher authorities.

Conclusion:

Teachers and students are advised to follow the FA–III timetable and syllabus strictly and plan their preparation accordingly. These formative assessments play a crucial role in continuous evaluation and improving learning outcomes.
