The Government has decided to undertake consultations with various Departments to examine the requirement of human resources with a view to enhancing the capability of Government to effectively meet its policy priorities. In this regard, the Departments and posts to be considered as required to be finalized after due consultation in a time-bound manner so as to provide clarity and certainty to the aspirants. Therefore, the Government intends to undertake phased recruitment into vacant Direct Recruit (DR) vacancies very shortly.
2. The Departments addressed are hereby informed that an indicative list of posts pertaining to these Departments, aligned with the Government's policy priorities, has been prepared and will be shared separately to the respective HODS and Secretaries. The list contains details of posts Head of Department (HOD)-wise. All the concerned departments are requested to verify the posts and the vacancies indicated against them. After due verification, the vacancies shall be confirmed officially in writing to the Finance Department on or before 12th March 2026, without fail.
3. It may kindly be noted that the details of the posts and vacancies will be communicated separately to each Secretary and Head of Department.
4. All Special Chief Secretaries / Principal Secretaries / Secretaries and Heads of Departments are requested to treat tthe matter as MOST IMMEDIATE and ensure timely confirmation of the vacancies.
5. A meeting, to be chaired by Principal Finance Secretary, with all the departmentsconcerned is scheduled at 3 PM on 13th March 2026 to finalise department-wise requirement.
