Badi Pilusthundi 2026: AP Government School Enrolment Drive – Complete Details
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has officially launched the “Badi Pilusthundi” Enrolment Drive 2026 to ensure 100% school admissions for the academic year 2026–27. This initiative aims to bring every eligible child into the education system, especially in Government schools.
According to official proceedings issued by the Director of School Education, this campaign will be conducted from April 17 to April 23, 2026 across the state.
Objective of Badi Pilusthundi Campaign
The primary goal of this campaign is to ensure that all children aged 6 to 14 years receive free and compulsory education under the RTE Act 2009.
Key Targets:
✅ Children completing 5 years in Anganwadi centers
✅ Students moving from Class 5 to Class 6
✅ Dropout & Out-of-school children
✅ Children in slum areas
✅ Students shifting from private to government schools
