The Nandyal District Women Development & Child Welfare Department has officially released the Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 Notification for the posts of Anganwadi Workers (AWW) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWH). Eligible women candidates from the concerned local areas can apply offline within the specified dates.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For Anganwadi Worker
Candidates must have passed:
10th Class (SSC)
Higher qualification candidates can also apply
For Anganwadi Helper
Candidates must have passed:
10th Class
If 10th qualified candidates are unavailable, higher qualified candidates may be considered
Age Limit
Candidates must be between:
21 years to 35 years
Age will be calculated as on 01 July 2025.
Special consideration is mentioned for candidates from tribal areas in certain cases.
Important Conditions
Applicants must be:
Women candidates only
Married / widow / divorced women preferred as per local norms
Must belong to the same local habitation / village / ward
Must be a resident of the concerned Anganwadi center area

A revised notification was also released on 14 April 2026, in which some worker posts were removed and converted into helper vacancies.
