The Government of Andhra Pradesh has officially approved a massive infrastructure development project under the Mana Badi Mana Bhavishyathu Programme for the academic year 2026-27. As per the latest Government Order, an administrative sanction of ₹571.11 Crores has been granted to strengthen infrastructure facilities in 5,989 Model Primary Schools (MPS) across the state. 

This initiative aims to improve basic educational infrastructure, provide better classroom facilities, ensure sanitation, drinking water, electrification, and create a student-friendly learning environment in government schools.

Objective of the Programme

The primary objective of the Mana Badi Mana Bhavishyathu Scheme is to transform government schools into modern educational institutions with improved infrastructure and learning facilities.

The initiative focuses on:

Electrification and ventilation

Enhanced student seating arrangements

Budget Utilization Details

The government permitted utilization of budget provisions under the following Heads of Account:

2. Mana Badi Mana Bhavishyathu Infrastructure Facilities in Schools

Official Government Order Details

The orders were issued by the School Education (Prog.IV) Department under the approval of the Andhra Pradesh Government. 

The Commissioner of School Infrastructure has been instructed to take further necessary action for implementation across the state.
