SBI has announced a total of 1500 vacancies including backlog vacancies. Category-wise vacancies are as follows:

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year students can also apply provisionally, provided they complete graduation before 30 September 2026. Candidates with Engineering, Medical, CA, and other professional qualifications are also eligible.
Age Limit (As on 01 April 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Candidates should have been born between 02 April 1996 and 01 April 2005 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

The recruitment process consists of three phases:

SBI PO Salary 2026
The starting basic pay for SBI Probationary Officers is ₹48,480, along with DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, medical facilities, and other allowances. The approximate annual CTC at Mumbai is ₹21.97 lakh.
