HPCL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Government of India Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, has released the Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Engineering) Recruitment 2026-27 notification. Eligible Engineering Graduates can apply online for apprenticeship training at various HPCL locations across India under the Apprentices Act, 1961. 

The apprenticeship offers one year of training along with a monthly stipend of ₹25,000.

Applications are invited from Engineering Graduates in the following disciplines:

Civil Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Instrumentation Engineering

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess:

BE/B.Tech Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline.

Minimum 60% aggregate marks for UR/OBC-NC candidates.

Minimum 50% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Candidates should have completed Engineering on or after 01 September 2023.

Candidates who completed Engineering before 01 September 2023 are not eligible. 

Age Limit

As on 31 July 2026

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 25 Years

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST – 5 Years

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years

PwBD – 10 Years

Monthly Stipend

Selected Graduate Apprentice Trainees will receive:

₹25,000 per month

₹20,500 paid by HPCL

₹4,500 paid directly by Government of India through DBT

Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

1. Screening based on academic merit.

2. Document Verification.

3. Medical Fitness.

4. Acceptance of Apprenticeship Contract on the NATS Portal.

Who is NOT Eligible?

The following candidates are not eligible:

Candidates who completed Engineering before 01 September 2023.

Candidates with one year or more work experience.

Candidates already undergoing or completed Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act.

Candidates submitting multiple applications.
