Selection Process

Bank of India may conduct the selection through an online examination and/or personal interview, depending on the number of applicants and eligible candidates.

Step 1: Scrutiny of Eligibility

Negative Marking

There will be a penalty for wrong answers in the objective tests. For every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. No penalty is imposed for an unanswered question. 12

Step 3: Personal Interview

Candidates who qualify in the online examination and rank sufficiently high may be called for a personal interview.

The maximum marks for the interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks are 50% for General/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates applying against reserved vacancies. 13

Final Selection

If both online examination and interview are conducted, the weightage is:
