Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Candidates should have completed 15 years of age.
- The maximum age should not have exceeded 24 years as on 05 September 2026.
- Upper age relaxation is applicable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Upper age relaxation is applicable by 3 years for OBC candidates.
- For Persons with Disability, upper age relaxation is applicable by 10 years.
- Additional age relaxation provisions are applicable to eligible ex-servicemen as specified in the notification.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed 10th Class / Matriculation or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board.
Candidates must also possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI.
The percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI will be given equal weightage for preparing the merit list. The notification specifies that the calculation is based on the simple average of the percentage of marks in Matriculation and ITI.
In case two candidates have the same marks, the candidate with the older age will be preferred. If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the Matriculation examination earlier will be considered first.

Photograph and Signature Requirements
