The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has issued proceedings regarding the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) Survey for the years 2025-26 and 2026-27. The survey is intended to identify teachers' professional development needs, interests, experiences and support requirements.
According to the proceedings, the TNA Year 4 Phase 2 and TNA Year 5 surveys will be conducted together for teachers across the state.
The proceedings were issued by the Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati, through Rc.No. ESE02-11/316/2026-SCERT dated 10 September 2026. 0
What is the AP TNA Survey?
Training Needs Analysis is being undertaken to support needs-based teacher professional development. The proceedings state that the initiative is aligned with the provisions of the National Education Policy 2020 and is being undertaken under the aegis of the AP-SALT Project.
The purpose is to understand teachers' interests and professional development needs so that appropriate courses can subsequently be developed and implemented. 1
TNA 2025-26 – Year 4 Phase 2
The TNA Year 4 process is being implemented in two phases. The first phase was completed in the third week of July 2026.
First Phase
During the first phase, complex HMs identified 10 teachers from their respective complexes. The selected teachers represented both primary and secondary levels.
