Medical Board Verification from 08 October to 16 October 2026
The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has issued important instructions regarding the constitution of District Medical Boards for verification of employees claiming benefits under preferential categories notified under the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2025.
As per Memo No. ESE02-14/179/2026-EST4-CSE, dated 07 October 2026, District Medical Boards are being constituted across Andhra Pradesh to verify eligible employees and facilitate the allotment process under the Public Employment Order, 2025.
District Medical Board verification will be conducted from 08-10-2026 to 16-10-2026.
AP District Medical Board Verification 2026
The Director of Medical Education, Andhra Pradesh, has directed the Superintendents of Government General Hospitals in the State to constitute District Medical Boards during the period from 08.10.2026 to 16.10.2026. These Boards will verify employees claiming benefits under the preferential categories specified in G.O.Ms.No.129, GA (SPF&MC) Department, dated 17.07.2026.
Who Can Appear Before the Medical Board?
The instructions apply to eligible employees of the School Education Department, including:
- Teachers
- Head Masters
- Mandal Educational Officers (MEOs)
- Deputy Educational Officers (DYEOs)
- Non-teaching staff
The Medical Boards will facilitate verification of claims under the preferential categories mentioned in the Government Order.
Preferential Medical Categories
According to the School Education Department memo, the medical categories include:
- Employees having dependent mentally challenged children
- Employees suffering from Cancer
- Employees who have undergone Major Neurosurgery
- Employees who have undergone Kidney Transplantation
- Employees who have undergone Liver Transplantation
- Employees who have undergone Open Heart Surgery
The medical ailments are listed in the order of priority in the department's instructions.

Important Documents to Carry
Eligible employees attending the Medical Board should appear for medical examination along with their original documents and certificates issued by the concerned hospitals.

Instructions to Education Department Officials
Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers have been instructed to coordinate with the concerned Medical Superintendents of the Government General Hospitals for constitution and smooth functioning of the District Medical Boards.
The department has also instructed officials to facilitate teachers, Head Masters, MEOs, DYEOs and non-teaching staff who are eligible to claim benefits under the specified preferential categories.
Why This Medical Verification Is Important
The verification and certification process is intended to facilitate the smooth and timely implementation of the allotment process under the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2025.
The District Medical Boards will therefore play an important role in verifying eligible medical claims before the concerned allotment process is completed.
Employees eligible under the specified preferential categories should carefully follow the instructions of their concerned District Educational Officer and Medical Superintendent and attend the Medical Board during the prescribed period.
