1. Review of Student Assessment Results

Nodal Officers must review the performance of Class 10 students in Formative Assessments 1, 2, 3 and 4, Summative Assessment-1, the Pre-Final Examination and the Grand Test. The analysis must be conducted school-wise, subject-wise and student-wise to determine whether each student's performance is improving.

2. Daily Slip Tests and LEAP App

The results of daily slip tests conducted during the Assessment Hour must be reviewed. Officers must verify that marks are entered in the LEAP App within 48 hours and that remedial teaching is provided to address identified learning gaps.

Assessment Hour: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Marks entry: Within 48 hours of the slip test, as specified in the proceedings.

3. Directions to District Educational Officers

Where deficiencies are identified in programme implementation, student performance, attendance or marks entry, Nodal Officers must issue appropriate directions to the concerned District Educational Officers and verify compliance during the next review.

4. Periodic Review Meetings

Regular review meetings must be conducted with the DEO, RJDSE, Deputy Educational Officers, Mandal Educational Officers and Headmasters of priority schools. The meetings must assess Class 10 learning outcomes and record clear action points, responsible persons and timelines.

5. Monthly District Visits

Each Nodal Officer must visit the allotted district at least once every month until completion of the SSC Public Examinations in March 2027. Special attention must be given to schools with poor SSC results in previous years, more Rising Stars, low attendance, weak subject performance or repeated non-compliance.

6. Daily Monitoring

Daily reports or dashboard information must be obtained from the DEO and RJDSE regarding:

  • Student attendance.
  • Teacher attendance.
  • Conduct of daily slip tests.
  • LEAP App marks entry.
  • Schools requiring immediate academic support.

Immediate corrective action must be sought whenever serious deviations are noticed.

7. Special Focus on Rising Stars

The progress of Rising Stars must be reviewed separately. Nodal Officers must ensure that remedial teaching, mentoring and retesting actually reach the students who need additional support.

8. Field Verification of Academic Materials

Officers must verify whether the latest examination schedule, question banks, model papers and blueprints issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, have reached schools and are being followed.

They must also verify that:

  • Mandal Educational Officers visit at least two Class 10 schools every week.
  • Deputy Educational Officers visit priority schools.
  • Schools implement the prescribed academic schedule.

9. Attendance and Parent Engagement

Chronic absenteeism, prolonged teacher absence and subject teacher vacancies affecting Class 10 students must be reviewed. Parents of irregular and low-performing students must be contacted through the school.

10. Fortnightly Reporting

A brief report must be submitted to the Director of School Education, A.P., every fortnight. The report should include:

  • Overall district implementation status.
  • Student performance and improvement.
  • Major academic and administrative concerns.
  • Priority schools and subjects.
  • Action taken and support required.

Any serious academic, administrative or examination-related risk must be reported immediately.

11. Coordination with District Special Officers

Nodal Officers must coordinate with the Special Officers appointed by the District Collector for poor-performing schools and verify the follow-up action taken on the issues identified by them.

12. Monthly Parent-Teacher Meetings

Schools must conduct monthly Parent-Teacher Meetings for Class 10 students. Parents should be informed about individual student performance, weak subjects and the home-study support required.

13. Two-Hour Home Study

Suggested home-study period: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The proceedings direct officers to verify whether Class 10 parents are being sensitised to provide a regular two-hour home-study period for revision and preparation for the next day's slip test.

14. Teacher Mentoring and Academic Support

Nodal Officers must review whether teachers with low subject-wise pass percentages are receiving mentoring, academic guidance and subject-specific support to improve student outcomes.

Important Areas Requiring Close Monitoring

As per the proceedings, Nodal Officers must closely review the following implementation risks:

  • Schools not conducting the prescribed tests.
  • Delay in entering marks in the LEAP App.
  • High student absenteeism.
