In the reference 1st cited, Government have issued orders according permission to the Director of Medical Education, A.P., to recognize the existing already recognized referral Hospitals in Telangana State, to all employees/pensioners of Government of Andhra Pradesh for taking treatment in those Hospitals located in Telangana state, since 02.06.2014.

In the reference 2nd cited, the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust and Director of Medical Education, A.P., have reported that nearly 9 years have passed after issue of the above orders in Memo No. 6501/1.1/2015, Health Medical & Family Welfare, Dated.31.07.2015 but only a few hospitals in Telangana (Hyderabad City) have obtained recognition from the DME, A.P., Vijayawada. Most of the A.P. State Government HOD/Secretariat employees, their families, pensioners, and their dependents are settled in Hyderabad, and employees under the IX and X schedule institutions are also residing in Hyderabad.
3. The Director of Medical Education has further reported that there are only 11 such 'already recognized private referral' hospitals in the state of Telangana since 2015, no new hospitals have been recognized. If treatment is obtained in other than these 11 hospitals, the medical reimbursement (MR) under EHS scheme is not applied. Hence, the MR bills are getting rejected at treasury.

The Director of Medical Education and Chief Executive Officer, NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, have therefore requested to issue fresh guidelines in line with Government Memo 1st cited, since considerable number of employees and pensioners families have settled in Hyderabad and prima facie, there is a need to recognize more number of hospitals for Employee Health Scheme in the state of Telangana, for uninterrupted health services.
5. In the circumstances reported above, Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord permission to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust/ Director of Medical Education, to recognize the Hospitals that were recognized by the Director of Medical Education, T.G., Hyderabad to allow to treat A.P. State Government employees, pensioners and employees of Schedule IX and X Institutions and their dependents, for uninterrupted health services, in line with Government Memo No. 6501/1.1/2015, Health Medical & Family Welfare, Dated.31.07.2015.
6. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust and Director of Medical Education, A.P. shall take further necessary action accordingly in the matter.
7. This Memo issues with the concurrence of Finance (FMU.HM &FW) Department, vide their U.O.No.FIN01-FMUOPC(HMF1)/1166/2024-FMU-HMFW, (Computer No. 2635973)
