ORDER:
In the G.O. 1 read above, Scheme of Selection Rules, 2025 for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test (AP TRT) for the posts of School Assistants (SA), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Municipality Schools, Municipal Corporation Schools, Tribal Welfare Ashram Schools, and for the posts Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) and Physical Education Teachers(PET) in the Juvenile welfare Department schools and for the posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT-Special Education), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT-Special Education) and Physical Education Teachers(PET) in the Department for the Welfare of Differently Abled Schools, were issued.
2. In the circumstances stated by the Director of School Education, in the letter 2 read above, Government after careful examination of the matter, have decided to amend the Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No.15, School Education (Services-I) Department, dt: 19.04.2025.
3. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in Andhra Pradesh Gazette
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 309 of the Constitution of India read with sub section (3) and (4) of Section 169, Sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 195 and Section 243 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, (Andhra Pradesh Act 13 of 1994) and amendments thereon and third proviso of Section 74 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act 6/1965) and Section 78 and Section 99 of the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 (Act 1 of 1982), read with sub -section (1) of section 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 (Central Act No. 35 of 2009), duly incorporating the norms and conditions of the eligibility criteria prescribed by the NCTE and RCI from time to time for the posts of teachers, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issue the following amendments to the Rules issued in the G.O.Ms.No.15, School Education (Services-l) Department, dt: 19.04.2025:-
AMENDMENT
(0) In the said Rules, under Rule-5, for the posts of School Assistants and Trained Graduate Teachers (For Non-Languages), the required percentage in Graduation, shall be read as 40% in respect of the SC/ST/BC/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities candidates, in place of 45% marks in Graduation wherever mentioned.
(ii) In the said Rules, under Rule-5, for the posts of School Assistants and Trained Graduate Teachers (For Languages), the required percentage in Graduation/Post Graduation, shall be read as 40% in respect of the SC/ST/BC/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities candidates, in place of 45% marks in Graduation/Post-Graduation wherever mentioned.
(iii) In the said Rules, under Rule-10 (iv), under the caption "Certificates Upload", the existing sub-rules a), b), c) & d) are deleted and the following sub-rule is substituted under Rule-10 (iv)
Certificates Upload:
"Uploading of required certificates is optional at the time of submission of online application. However, the onus of proving their eligibility rests solely with the candidate at the time of verification of the certificates. The candidates must produce the requisite prescribed certificates in original at the time of certificate verification to establish their eligibility. No relaxation of any prescribed criteria, will be considered under any circumstances, at the time of verification of the certificates.
4. These orders shall come into force with effect from the date of issue of G.O.Ms.No.15, School Education (Services-I) Department, dt: 19.04.2025.
