Who Can Apply?
ISRO invites online applications from candidates with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84/10 CGPA in their BE/B.Tech (or equivalent) degrees in the following disciplines:
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Computer Science Engineering
Candidates graduating in the academic year 2024–25 are also eligible, provided they obtain their final degree by August 31, 2025, meeting the minimum academic criteria.
Available Positions
A total of 320+ vacancies are available under various post codes (BE001, BE002, BE003) across ISRO Centres and units, including PRL Ahmedabad. Some of these positions are also reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Age Limit
Applicants should be below 28 years as on June 16, 2025. Relaxations apply for government employees, ex-servicemen, and PwBD candidates.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a written test followed by an interview:
Written Test (120 minutes):
Part A: 80 MCQs in the relevant discipline (1 mark each, -1/3 negative marking)
Part B: 15 MCQs in aptitude (total of 20 marks, no negative marking)
Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio based on written test scores. Final merit will be calculated with 50% weightage each to the written test and interview performance.
Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, starting with a basic pay of ₹56,100 per month, plus allowances like DA, HRA, and transport benefits. Other perks include medical facilities, pension schemes, subsidized canteen, LTC, and more.
