1 Whether the notional seniority applies only to promotions, or for transfers also? No, notional seniority shall be awarded for Promotions and AAS only, not for Transfers.
2 Whether spouse points can be provided to the teacher, whose spouse is working in Yanam Union Territory under Puducherry? Follow the previous transfer counselling. (If the spouse points were given in previous transfer counselling 2023, 2021 and 2017, now also to be considered. If not, now also not considered.)

7 Are spouse points applicable to employees working in Devasthanam (TTD) departments? Follow the previous transfer counselling (2023, 2021, 2017).
8 If a Language Pandit (Hindi) undergoes reapportionment, will the teacher get the reapportionment points? No, all Language Pandits have to apply compulsorily. Hence, no points will be given.
9 Teacher joined on 31.08.2017 (forenoon), TIS shows 01.09.2017 — considered 8 years completed? Yes, he/she is in compulsory transfer.
10 Teacher promoted to SA, reverted to SGT with service break — eligible for compulsory transfer? No, he/she hasn’t completed 8 years due to break in service.
11 SGT with 40% VH on study leave (2024-26) and completed 8 years — need to apply for transfer? No need to apply for transfer as on study leave.
12 Teacher on study leave (2023-25), identified surplus by MEO — must apply transfer? Yes, he/she shall apply for compulsory transfer as identified surplus under reapportionment.
