Reservation Details:
NMDC has ensured inclusivity by reserving posts for various categories, including SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and UR. Detailed reservation breakdowns for each complex (Kirandul, Bacheli, and Donimalai) are available in the official notification. Reservations for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen will follow Government of India directives.
Stipend and Pay Scales
Selected candidates will undergo an 18-month training period with the following stipend structure:
- First 12 months: ₹18,000 (RS-01 & RS-02 posts) or ₹19,000 (RS-04 posts)
- Next 6 months: ₹18,500 (RS-01 & RS-02 posts) or ₹19,500 (RS-04 posts)
Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be regularized with pay scales ranging from ₹18,100–31,850 to ₹19,900–35,040, depending on the post. Additional benefits include Dearness Allowance, Perks & Allowances, Medical Facilities, Gratuity, and Provident Fund as per company rules.
Age Criteria

. Follow these steps:
1. Visit the NMDC website and navigate to the Careers page.
2. Fill in the online application form and upload required documents, including:
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Matriculation/10th certificate or Middle Pass certificate (for Field Attendant)
- Qualification and experience certificates
- Caste/Category certificates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD)
- Scanned signature
3. Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹150 via UPI, credit card, or net banking through SBI-Collect.
- Exemption: SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates are exempt from the fee (proof required).
4. Download and retain a hard copy of the application form for future reference.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages:
1. First Level Test:
- Field Attendant (Trainee): OMR-Based Test (100 marks)
- General Knowledge (70 marks)
- Numerical and Reasoning Ability (30 marks)
- Other Posts: Computer-Based Test (CBT) (100 marks)
- Subject Knowledge (30 marks)
- General Knowledge (50 marks)
- Numerical and Reasoning Ability (20 marks)
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- SC/ST/PwBD: 40 marks
- OBC (NCL): 45 marks
- UR/EWS: 50 marks
2. Second Level Test:
- Field Attendant: Physical Ability Test (qualifying in nature)
- Other Posts: Trade Test (qualifying in nature)
- Qualifying Marks for Second Level Test:
- UR/EWS: 40%
- OBC (NCL): 37%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
Final selection will be based on performance in the OMR-Based Test/CBT, subject to qualifying in the Second Level Test. Candidates will be called for the Second Level Test in a 1:3 ratio based on their First Level Test scores.
Important Notes
- Document Verification: Candidates must produce original documents (age, qualification, caste, experience, etc.) at the time of the Second Level Test. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Travel Allowance: Outstation SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates attending the tests will be reimbursed second-class railway/bus fare by the shortest route, subject to submission of tickets and a filled TA form.
- Posting: Selected candidates will be posted at Kirandul, Bacheli, or Donimalai complexes but may be transferred to other NMDC units as per company requirements.
- Accommodation: Bachelor accommodation will be provided for the first five years of service.
- Eligibility: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
