  1. Can a teacher on study leave (2024–26) who hasn't completed 5/8 years apply for transfer?
    No.
  2. Are study leave vacancies considered clear vacancies?
    Yes, but those teachers are not eligible to participate in transfer counselling.
  3. How is surplus status handled for SA teachers with a promotion case?
    If one is eligible for HM promotion, junior is compulsorily transferred. If senior is promoted, junior remains.
  4. How are station points calculated for HMs whose school category changed?
    Maximum 5 years of service considered for points, combining SA and HM service in the same school.
  5. Are PGTs who served 8 years subject to compulsory transfer?
    Yes, if they served 6 years as SA + 2 as PGT.
  6. Can a PET with <2 allotted="" be="" exempted="" if="" is="" of="" sa="" same="" school="" service="" strong="" to="" years="">
    Yes, and the SA (PD) post will not be shown as vacant.
  7. Can a teacher who availed preferential points in 2023 use them again after bypass surgery?
    No. Preferential category can be used only once in 8 years.
  8. Can a teacher reuse spouse points before completing 5 years?
    No. Can only be used once in 5 years.
  9. From when are service points calculated for a teacher joined as SGT in 1995 and SA in 1997?
    From the SA joining date – 09.01.1997.
  10. Are MTS teachers eligible for spouse category?
    No, they are not regular teachers.
  11. Are male teachers in Girls HS Plus under compulsory transfer after 2 years?
    Only if they completed 8 years. Otherwise, they may apply under request transfer.
  12. Are male teachers above 50 working in Girls HS under compulsory transfer?
    No, unless they complete 5/8 years.
  13. If a teacher has pending charges, when is ineligibility considered?
    Both at notification and application dates.
  14. Can SA (Physical Education) opt for MPS HM post?
    No, only eligible for primary-level posts.
  15. Are Language Pandits in UPS/High Schools shown as surplus?
    Yes, and their positions reallotted to SA Languages.
  16. Can teachers under rationalization choose between old station and current points?
    Yes, as per their choice. They can claim 7 points + current or previous station points.
  17. Who is considered surplus in Girls HS with both male and female SAs?
    Male teachers, regardless of seniority.
  18. Can a teacher avail spouse points if the spouse works in another district?
    Only within their own district, unless the spouse's district is adjacent.
  19. If due for retirement in 2 years, must a teacher with 8 years service transfer back to parent management?
    No, unless they wish to apply.
  20. Can both spouses use spouse and preferential categories in same cycle?
    No, only one benefit can be used per person per 8 years.
  21. Can a widow teacher in the preferential category opt for a single-subject HS post?
    Only if it's a general vacancy and based on points.
  22. From when are agency area points considered?
    From the date of commencement of the act.
  23. Can FS teachers be adjusted into BPS after collocation?
    No, they are shown as surplus.
  24. Can SGT teachers be adjusted into nearby PS if primary section is moved?
    No, they are shown as surplus.
  25. Why is there a cap of 8 years for awarding station points?
    As per Rule 6 of G.O Ms. No. 22 dated 20.05.2025, full service length in the respective categories is used.
