The State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, Andhra Pradesh, Sri B. Srinivasarao, I.A.S., has sanctioned and released 50% of the composite school grants for elementary, secondary, and senior secondary schools for the academic year 2025-26. A total of ₹5474.50 lakhs (₹54.74 crores) has been approved for release to 44,055 schools across the state.

This significant release of funds, detailed in proceedings Rc.No. SS-15024/36/2021-SAMO-SSA dated June 24, 2025, is in line with the PAB Minutes 2025-26 from the Government of India's Ministry of Education.

The grants are allocated based on the enrollment data from UDISE 2022-23. Notably, 10% of these funds are earmarked for the Swachhta Action Plan, and another 10% is specifically allocated for the conduct of MPTM 2.0.

The Finance Controller of the Samagra Shiksha office has been requested to release the budget of ₹54,74,50,000/- to the Additional Project Coordinators (APCs) of Samagra Shiksha in the state through online channels. These funds are to be drawn from the Composite School Grant intervention of PAB 2025-26.

Additional Project Coordinators are directed to promptly release the allocated budget to the concerned schools. They are also instructed to verify the enrollment status of each school and withhold funds from schools with zero enrollment for the 2025-26 academic year. Furthermore, expenditure details must be uploaded to the PRABANDH portal without fail.
