Eligibility Criteria (as per Guidelines):
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria outlined in the "Guidelines for the appointment of Law Clerks on contract to Hon'ble Judges of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati," issued vide Gazette Notification No. 88, dated July 18, 2020, and subsequent amendments.
- Age: A candidate must not have attained the age of 30 years as on July 1st, preceding the last date fixed for submission of applications.
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.
- Should possess a Degree in Law from a recognized University, either through a 5-year regular stream after 10+2 schooling or a 3-year regular law degree after a 10+2 and a regular curriculum degree course.
- Candidates in the fifth year of the Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of the Three-Year Law Course (after graduation in any stream) are also eligible to apply, provided they furnish proof of acquiring the Law qualification before taking up the assignment.
- The Law Degree must have been passed within 2 years immediately preceding the date of notification for selection of Law Clerks.
Other Conditions:
- Should not be pursuing any other regular course of study or any other profession/occupation that would require absence from the place of work during the engagement period.
- If enrolled as an Advocate, the candidate must suspend practice before joining as a Law Clerk and maintain the suspension until the Law Clerkship demits.

- Mailing Method: Applications must be sent under Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due.
- Envelope Superscription: The postal cover should be subscribed as "Application for the post of Law Clerk".
- Deadline: Applications must reach the undersigned on or before July 19, 2025, by 5:00 P.M.
Important Notes:
- Applications received after the due date, incomplete applications, or those without testimonials and certificates will not be entertained.
- The High Court will not be responsible for any postal delays.
- The number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on exigencies.
- Law Clerks are engaged for a normal period of one year, extendable up to four years with the Chief Justice's approval.
- The selection process involves eligible candidates appearing for a viva voce at Amaravati. The High Court reserves the right to conduct the viva voce physically and/or online.
- Selection will be based on merit and subject to the approval of the Hon'ble Chief Justice.
