The Adult Education Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh is looking to fill 47 vacant Supervisor posts across the state. The positions are available on a deputation basis under Foreign Service Terms and Conditions, with an initial tenure of one year.
Applications are being invited from eligible employees of the School Education Department who are under 45 years of age. This includes SGTs, PETs, and Gr.II Language Pandits.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- The District Selection Committee will evaluate applicants based on specific criteria and a merit-based system with a total of 100 marks.
- Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Seniority: SGTs with higher qualifications, a minimum of 10 years of service, and an age not exceeding 45 years.
* Experience: SGTs who have worked as MRPs and members of SRGs/DRGs.
* Willingness to travel: Candidates willing to travel extensively—3 to 4 mandals, for 20 days a month, during both day and night.
* Skills: SGTs with skills in mass communication, cultural activities, or kalajathas, supported by certified evidence from state, district, or mandal authorities.
The weightage/merit marks will be calculated as follows:
- Educational Qualifications (50 marks): Points are assigned for qualifications from SSC up to Post Graduation and professional degrees like D.Ed/B.Ed and M.Ed. A specific formula is used to calculate marks based on scores or CGPA.
- Experience (10 marks): Candidates with experience as MLO/MRP/SRG/DRG will receive 5 marks, and those with experience in mass communication skills, cultural activities, or kalajathas will get another 5 marks, upon submission of a certificate.
- Service Weightage (10 marks): One mark is awarded for each year of service.
- Oral Interview (20 marks): The District Selection Committee will conduct an oral interview for 20 marks.
