3. G.O. Ms. No. 72, Finance (PC-TA) Department, Dated: 28.07.2024.
Government issued Comprehensive Orders on implementation of 11th PRC, Revised Pay Scales, 2022, vide reference 1st read above. In the reference 2nd read above, Government have revised the rates of HRA @ 24% of the basic pay subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- to all employees of Secretariat and Heads of Departments (HoDs) w.e.f. 01.01.2022 and continued upto June, 2024. The same was extended for a further period of one year from 01.07.2024 upto 30.06.2025 in the reference 3rd read above.
2. The Employees' Associations have represented to continue the HRA 24% beyond June, 2025 for the Secretariat and HoD employees, as the premises listed in the GO 3rd read above, still exists and the 12th PRC is yet to give its recommendations on the subject.
3. Government, after careful consideration of the entire matter and keeping in view of the welfare of the employees, have decided to extend the HRA at @ 24% of the basic pay subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- to all employees of Secretariat and Heads of Departments w.e.f. 01.07.2025 and shall be continued for one more year i.e. upto June, 2026.
