The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has released Notification No.16/2025 dated 16.09.2025 for Direct Recruitment to the post of Draughtsman Grade-II (Technical Assistant) in A.P. Forest Subordinate Service.

This notification is for 13 vacancies (12 fresh + 1 carried forward) including 1 post reserved for Meritorious Sportspersons (MSP).

Vacancy Details

• Post Name: Draughtsman Grade-II (Technical Assistant)
• Service: A.P. Forest Subordinate Service
• Total Vacancies: 13 (including 1 MSP quota)
• Pay Scale: ₹34,580 – ₹1,07,210 (RPS:2022)
• Age Limit: 18 – 42 years as on 01.07.2025 (Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/BC/EWS/PBD/Ex-Servicemen, etc.)

Educational Qualification

• Must possess a Trade Certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) i.e., ITI in the State or an equivalent qualification.
• Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (Objective Type – OMR Based)

Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability – 150 Marks

Paper-II: ITI (Civil Draughtsman) – 150 Marks

Total: 300 Marks

Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer

2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)

Qualifying in nature (minimum qualifying marks: OC – 40%, BC – 35%, SC/ST/PBD – 30%)

Application Fee

• Application Processing Fee: ₹250/-
• Examination Fee: ₹80/-
• Exemptions: SC, ST, BC, Ex-Servicemen, White Card holders, and Unemployed Youth (AP residents) are exempted from exam fee.
• Other States Candidates: Must pay full fee (₹330/-).

Exam Centre

Candidates can opt for 3 exam centres as preference, but APPSC may allot any based on availability.

2. Complete One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) if not already registered.

3. Login with OTPR ID & Password.

4. Fill application online & upload required documents.

5. Pay fee online through debit/credit card or net banking.

6. Download application form PDF for future reference.
