The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has released Notification No.15/2025 dated 16.09.2025 for the recruitment of Hostel Welfare Officer (Grade-II) posts in A.P. B.C. Welfare Service and A.P. Social Welfare Service.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with B.Ed. or equivalent from a recognized University.

Age Limit: 18 – 42 years as on 01.07.2025

Age Relaxations:

• SC/ST/BC/EWS → 5 Years
• PBDs → 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen → 3 Years + Service rendered
• AP Govt. Employees → Up to 5 Years

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (Objective Type – OMR Based)

Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability – 150 Marks

Paper-II: Education – 150 Marks

Total: 300 Marks

Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer

2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – Qualifying in nature

Application Fee

• Application Processing Fee: ₹250/-
• Examination Fee: ₹80/-

Exemptions:

• SC, ST, BC, PBDs, Ex-Servicemen, White Card holders, and Unemployed Youth (local candidates) exempted from exam fee.
• Other States candidates must pay full fee (₹330/-).

Exam Centre

• Examination will be conducted at Vijayawada.

3. Login with OTPR ID & Password.

4. Fill the online application form.

5. Upload required documents, photo & signature.
