Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Must possess a First or Second Class P.G. Degree in Library Science (M.Lib.Sc. or equivalent) from a UGC-recognized University.

• Age Limit: 18 – 42 years as on 01.07.2025

Relaxations:

• SC/ST/BC/EWS → 5 Years
• PBDs → 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen → 3 Years + Service rendered
• AP Govt. Employees → Up to 5 Years

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (OMR Based – Objective Type)

Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability – 150 Marks

Paper-II: Library Science – 150 Marks

Total: 300 Marks

Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer

2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – Mandatory & Qualifying in nature

Application Fee

• Application Processing Fee: ₹250/-
• Examination Fee: ₹120/-

Exempted Categories:

• SC, ST, BC, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, White Card holders & Unemployed Youth (local to AP)
• Other States candidates must pay full fee (₹370/-)

Exam Centre

Examination will be conducted at Vijayawada only.

3. Login with OTPR ID & Password.

4. Fill out the application form carefully.

5. Upload scanned photo & signature.
