Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has released Notification No.28/2025 (dated 24.09.2025) for the recruitment of Zilla Sainik Welfare Officers (ZSWO) in A.P. Sainik Welfare Service.

Eligible Ex-Servicemen / Ex-Emergency Commissioned Officers / Short Service Commissioned Officers can apply online from 09.10.2025 to 29.10.2025 through the official website psc.ap.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Must be an Ex-Service Officer of the Army/Navy/Air Force.

2. Must have held a rank of not below that of Captain (Army) / Lieutenant (Navy) / Flight Lieutenant (Air Force).

3. Graduate degree of a recognized university.

4. Should be able to read, write and speak Telugu.

5. Should be medically fit and of good character.

Application Process

1. Candidates must register through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) at psc.ap.gov.in.

2. Fill out the online application form between 09.10.2025 to 29.10.2025 (11:00 PM).

3. Upload photo, signature, and documents.

4. Pay the application fee online.

Application Fee

• Processing Fee: ₹250
• Examination Fee: ₹120 (Exempted for Ex-Servicemen)

Selection Process

• Written Examination (Objective Type – CBT/OMR Based)
• Paper I: General Studies & Mental Ability – 150 Marks (150 Qs – 150 Mins)
• Paper II: Secretarial Abilities – 150 Marks (150 Qs – 150 Mins)
• Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer.
