Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized university.
- Must have proficiency in Telugu & English (reading, writing & speaking).
- Should have computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).
Age Limit (as on Notification Date):
- Minimum: 35 years
- Maximum: 63 years
- Engagement permissible up to 65 years of age.
Desirable Qualification:
- Retired Bank Officials (Scale-I & above) with experience in rural/semi-urban areas preferred.
- Candidates with IIBF Financial Literacy Certification will also be considered.
Salary & Allowances
- Position Monthly Remuneration
- Financial Literacy Counsellor: ₹23,500/-
- Senior Financial Literacy Counsellor: ₹30,000/-
Additional Allowances:
- Travel Allowance: ₹5/km (own vehicle) or ₹2/km (other modes)
- Halting Allowance: ₹450/day (>8 hrs), ₹225/day (4–8 hrs)
- Room Rent: Up to ₹850/day
- Newspaper Allowance: ₹300/month
- Mobile Bill: ₹400/month
- All payments are subject to TDS.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct financial literacy programs and camps (minimum 10 per month).
- Educate rural people on banking, savings, credit, and digital literacy.
- Spread awareness on RBI and Government schemes (PMJDY, APY, PMJJBY, PMSBY).
- Maintain camp records and submit reports to the Regional/Head Office.
- Coordinate with NABARD, RSETIs, LDMs, and other agencies.
Selection Process
1. Shortlisting based on qualification & experience.
2. Personal Interview at Head Office, Guntur (or any other venue).
3. Selection based on communication skills, financial literacy knowledge, and rural exposure.
