Vacancies are available in multiple sports such as Athletics, Archery, Boxing, Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Swimming, Shooting, Badminton, Basketball, Hockey, Taekwondo, Yoga and many more.
Pay Scale
- Post: Constable (GD) under Sports Quota
- Pay Level: Level–3 (7th CPC)
- Salary: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 + applicable allowances
- Covered under New Pension Scheme (NPS).
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 23 years (as on 18 August 2025)
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
Sports Qualification
Candidates must have participated or won medals at:
- International Level OR
- National / Youth / Junior National Championships
- Sports achievements must be between 15 January 2024 to 15 January 2026.
Physical Standards (Brief)
Height:
- Male: 170 cm
- Female: 157 cm (Relaxation applicable for certain categories)
- Chest (Male): 80 cm (minimum expansion 5 cm)
- Medical Standards: As per BSF & MHA guidelines.
Application Fee
- General / OBC (Male): ₹159/-
- SC / ST / Female Candidates: No Fee
- Payment must be made online only.
