The Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced the Retirement Benefits Processing System (RBPS) to streamline and digitize pension and retirement benefit services for state government employees.

As per Cir.Memo.No.FIN02-14060/23/2026-D SEC-DTA, Dt: 19-02-2026 , detailed instructions have been issued to ensure smooth implementation of the system through the NIDHI portal.

What is RBPS?

RBPS (Retirement Benefits Processing System) is an integrated online platform designed to process retirement benefits of Andhra Pradesh State Government employees — from submission of application to final payment of pensionary benefits.

The system is being implemented by the Treasuries and Accounts Department under the supervision of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Key Highlights of the Circular

  • Retirement benefits will be processed fully online through the NIDHI portal.
  • Service Register (SR) data must match HRMS/CFMS records.
  • Mandatory Pre-Retirement Service Verification (PRSV).
  • Submission of physical Service Register to Pension Authorizing Authority (PAA) for certification.
  • Applicable to employees retiring within two years from the date of the G.O.

Essential Documents Required for RBPS Processing

The following documents/data must be updated and verified before submitting the RBPS application:

1. ✅ Updated Service Register (SR) as per HRMS/CFMS data

2. ✅ Nomination details for:

DCRG

Commutation

GPF

APGLI

GIS

Earned Leave (EEL)

Death Relief

Lifetime Arrears

3. ✅ Family Members Declaration with Biometric Authentication

4. ✅ Home Town Declaration

5. ✅ Periodical Service Verification Certificate

6. ✅ GIS Entry Certificate

7. ✅ Leave entries updated up to date

8. ✅ Any other required corrections/entries

 Instructions to Departments & Officers

  • DT&AOs, ATO (APCRT Mangalagiri), and Heads of Offices (HOOs) must:
  • Verify HRMS/CFMS data with Service Register.
  • Update discrepancies through competent authority.
  • Submit Service Registers of employees retiring within two years for PRSV.
  • Ensure no mismatch between physical SR and online records.
  • Guide DDOs/STOs under their jurisdiction for timely corrections. 
Important Note

The circular clearly states that this matter should be treated as “Most Urgent.” All concerned authorities must take immediate action to update records and avoid delays in pension sanction.
