NTPC Limited, India’s largest power conglomerate, has released the official notification for Engineering Executive Trainee (EET) Recruitment 2025 (Advt No. 14/24). To fuel its ambitious growth plan of reaching 149 GW capacity by 2032, NTPC is inviting young, energetic graduate engineers to join as EETs across various disciplines.
Vacancy Distribution for 2025
A total of 515 vacancies have been announced. Here is the discipline-wise breakup:

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or AMIE.
- Minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- Final year students are eligible provided they meet the criteria at the time of joining.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 27 years as of the last date of application (February 25, 2026). Standard relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-SM) per Government guidelines.
Pay Scale & Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed in the E1 grade with a pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000. In addition to the basic pay, trainees will receive Dearness Allowance, HRA, and other perks as per company rules.
